How to make the font work: 1) Open the window "Skins" in Rainmeter. 2) Right click and "Open folder" on "ME3 Clock&Date". 3) Create a folder called "@Resources", and put "Fonts" inside it. Now the font should work.
If the month is covering the day, do this: 1) Expand "ME3 Clock&Date" in the Rainmeter menu. 2) Right click and "Edit" on "Clock&Date.ini". 3) Look for this: [MeterDate] MeasureName=MeasureDate Meter=STRING X=[random number] Y=111 FontColor=255, 255, 255, 80 FontSize=[random number] FontFace=#Font# StringAlign=normal AntiAlias=1 4) Change X value for 20 and FontSize for 40. With those values it worked for me, anyway you can try other ones.
@zuidema I finally got this skin to work. After much trial and error, finally got the font to take...but I had the same problem with the numbered date (the 16) hanging over the month/day text. I did this:
[MeterDate] MeasureName=MeasureDate Meter=STRING X=30 <---------------------------------- Change this value to 30 (was 170) Y=111 FontColor=255, 255, 255, 80 FontSize=45 FontFace=#Font# StringAlign=normal AntiAlias=1
Ok still having problems, I have gone to \documents\rainmeter\skins In this folder I have another mass effect skin, illustro, and this skin. I make a @Resources folder, with that is Fonts, in that is me123, exit rainmeter, tun on rainmeter, November is covering the 16. Any other ideas?
Some one please explain to me how to get this properly installed, like others it doesn't look right. I installed the font me123 but it doesn't appear in the control panels fonts but slider does... I don't know what to do please help!
See inside your Rainmeter skins folder (usually "\documents\rainmeter\skins") if there is a subfolder named @Resources\Fonts. If donīt exist, then create it and copy the font me123.ttf for this folder. Restart rainmeter and load skin.
Sorry, but the font used is not Slider, is "Mass Effect 123". There one file in "\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\ME Clock&date\Fonts", named "me123.ttf". Then I install this font and also copy this file to "\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\@Resources\Fonts" and now itīs working fine.
